FAQ

  • What is Dallas Pickleball Club?

Dallas Pickleball Club (DPC) runs fun, competitive, community-based pickleball leagues, mixers, tournaments, and events across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We partner with multiple facilities and offer year-round programming for all skill levels.

  • Who can join?

Anyone! We welcome all levels — beginners, advanced beginners, intermediate, advanced, and competitive players.

We do currently restrict leagues to 18+ or 21+ depending on location. Otherwise there is no restrictions.

  • Do you run or help organize private events?

Yes! We can help host corporate mixers, tournaments, and team-building events. We also have helped with several non-profit/charity events. Send us an email and if we are available, we’d love to help make your event a success!

  • How do I become a sponsor?

Email us or DM us directly. Sponsorship packages range from product donations to paid placements. Many set up tables, sample products, or provide discounts and prizes.

  • Can I sign up by myself or without a complete team?

Yes! You can register without a partner or without a full team. Simply sign up as an Individual, and we will do our best to match you with another player or place you on a team that fits your age skill level.

Please note:Matching is not guaranteed, as it depends on how many Free Agents register and the balance of each division.

You may be paired with any appropriate team at the league director’s discretion.

If your matched teammates drop out, we will try to help find a replacement, but a sub or new partner is not guaranteed.

There are no refunds for partner issues once the league begins.

Many players join as Free Agents each season, and it's one of the best ways to meet new people and get plugged into the DPC community.

  • How long is a league season?

Each league typically runs 8 weeks:

    6 regular-season nights

    2 weeks of playoffs

We do our best to plan around major holidays. We include 2 weeks for make up days at the end of each season - mainly for outdoor league weather cancellations.

  • What if it rains?

All indoor leagues and events continue as scheduled. Outdoor leagues may be canceled for safety. Make-ups depend on facility availability. Each league includes two weeks of “make up days” at the end of the season/extending playoffs. Please note this when registering.

Do you issue refunds for weather cancellations?

No. We do our best to reschedule but cannot guarantee make-up dates.

  • What is the winter weather policy?

Dallas Pickleball Club prioritizes safety for all players, staff, and facilities. Outdoor leagues are weather-dependent and may be adjusted based on temperature, wind chill, rain, ice, or unsafe court conditions.

We make decisions based on real-time weather reports and facility input and publish updates via email, text (when urgent), GroupMe and Instagram stories.

Indoor leagues always continue as scheduled unless the facility is closed.

    Outdoor leagues proceed if:

Courts are safe, dry, and playable

Temperatures (with wind chill) are within a reasonable range for active play (typically 40 degrees or above)

    The facility remains open

Players should dress appropriately for winter conditions.

  • Do you offer lessons or clinics?

We do not currently coach or offer lessons/clinics. We do work with many wonderful facilities in the area and would be happy to refer you to a coach or clinic depending on your skill level and location!

  • Why does Dallas Pickleball Club charge what it does for leagues?

Our league pricing is based on real, fixed costs we pay every season. On average, courts cost about $80 per person per league, depending on the facility. Beyond court rental fees, each registration also covers software and payment-processing fees, staff on-site every week, scheduling and admin work, prizes, and league shirts. Shirts, medals, and end-of-season awards alone average $8–$10 per person, depending on the season and vendor pricing. We price leagues fairly and consistently across all facilities and skill levels to keep the experience high quality while covering the heavy upfront costs that make every league possible.

  • Where do you run leagues?

We currently run leagues at multiple Dallas-area facilities (examples):

    Courts at Cypress Waters

    Preston Playhouse

    LB Houston

    LifeTime Craig Ranch

    The Grove

    Additional seasonal or pop-up locations

    Facilities vary by season.

  • What is the DPC All-Access Membership?

A year-long membership that gives players guaranteed entry into all four 2026 leagues plus perks, discounts, shirts, and more.

    What does it include?

Guaranteed entry to Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall leagues

    Free league shirt every season

10–20% off mixers, tournaments, and merch

    Priority registration before the public

    Exclusive member events

    Member-only discount codes with sponsors

  • What is your refund + cancellation policy?

Dallas Pickleball Club does not offer refunds once a league has started. To receive a refund, you must cancel before the first night of play, and a small processing fee may apply. We do not issue refunds for injuries, schedule changes, partner issues, weather cancellations, or missed weeks, as court fees, staffing, shirts, and prizes are committed in advance. All mixers, tournaments, and memberships are non-refundable, and transfers or credits are only granted at the discretion of the league director.
